Reconstructive Plastic surgery is generally a quite complex surgical branch which deals with varied diseases and problems like burn deformities, congenital deformities in children, trauma, microvascular reconstructions and cancers of breast and Head N Neck. So, sometimes it is quite expensive for the people who are not able to afford it. Dr Amit Agarwal is associated with a charitable hospital in Lucknow where he operates and performs complex surgeries at a very reduced and affordable rates. He organizes numerous camps across the state in different districts and villages for the under privileged section of the society so that they can be treated at affordable cost and sometimes free for the patients who cannot afford it at all.
He also organises camps for children born with congenital deformity- Cleft Lip and palate and provide free treatment for children suffering from it through an International charity ‘Smile Train’. These children are treated and operated in these camps free of cost.
Innumerable camps are also organised for the patients suffering from burns and its deformities. Here these people are treated and operated upon at very nominal and affordable prices.
Our community/nation/world is facing multiple problems currently in terms of unequal distribution of health care facilities, education and access to even food to a large number of people. Our Clinic is trying to make a small attempt to provide these basic necessities available to the weaker section of the society. A significant part of the collection of the clinic earned as the consultation and operation charges from the people visiting the clinic is contributed in the ‘Radha Raman Charitable trust’ which provides these services to the people in need free of cost. You yourself getting treated at our clinic is a direct help to these people also and a contribution towards their basic needs. You can help them and your support is crucial to our efforts to provide these amenities to the people who cannot afford basic necessities.
