Buccal Fat Removal or Cheek Reduction

It is a facial slimming procedure done to decrease fullness in the lower cheeks and to define facial angles.

A naturally occurring pad of fat in the cheek hollow area is called as Buccal Fat Pad. This Buccal Fat Pad varies in size and volume with each individual patient. This pad does not have any relation with the body fat and can be present in people with leaner profile. Regardless, buccal fat pads can impact the facial shape. Large buccal fat pads can make the face look too round or full. The cheeks can look disproportionate to the nose, eyes, and other facial features. The surgical procedure which is used to thin the cheeks specifically in the areas of the cheek hollows is called as Buccal Fat Removal, also known as cheek fat removal or buccal lipectomy. It is a surgery that creates a more contoured facial appearance and is generally used to reduce the appearance of chubby cheeks that appear due to genetics or weight gain. Cheek reduction surgery helps an individual improve not only the appearance of the cheeks but brings harmony to the overall facial shape.Brow Forehead Lift
